OEM front tie rods are common to wear out and unfortunately not available for purchase separately, but only as a part of the entire steering rack assembly, hence we deliver another solution to the 4C market – GMS front tie rods.
 
GMS front tie rods are engineered to, surpass OEM quality and durability, be able to withstand track use and fine tune the chassis. The tie rod housing is a single piece, CNC machined 7075-T6 part. The ball joint is utilizing 42CrMo4 stem, while housing is more tightly CNC machined allowing to fit larger diameter ball in the cup, greatly increasing lifespan and reducing potential of stress breaking. Internal sliding medium is a PET-GL derivative Ertalyte TX - self lubricating, supreme wear resistant material suited for extreme use.
 
The assembly itself, delivers 40% lower weight (420g / pair) than OEM part (654g / pair), yet it boasts increased durability and safety margin for track use. GMS front tie rods also feature minorly revised kinematics – fully eliminating bump steer under compression, slightly reducing steering wheel kickback over road irregularities.
